Aleksa Simich started in construction over 25 years ago. He developed his specialty in wood framing and later in metal stud framing as a member of local unions. As his career progressed, he began overseeing larger and larger commercial projects including department stores, auto dealerships, and even portions of the Grove, right here in Los Angeles. While working in commercial construction, he honed his abilities in residential construction on his own time. After obtaining his general contracting license, Aleksa Simich Construction was born. Today, we operate as a family. By structuring ourselves this way, it keeps us from falling into the corporate mindset, where clients tend to become a faceless customer or a commodity. We want each of our projects to be as unique as the property owner and allow the homeowner's story to be told through quality design and construction. Our family has one saying that we strive to live by: We don't want to be the biggest, we want to be the best.
